Discipline

Discipline is a quality we value and try to inculcate in our students. Good discipline involves respecting oneself and others. Respecting time is another critical part of discipline, which is why punctuality is also one of our tenets.

“Motivation keeps you going, but discipline keeps you growing”

Keeping the Above in Mind, Please Note:

  • Parents are requested that in the interest of their child and to maintain the discipline of the school, to strictly abide by the opening and closing dates of the school. If a child leaves early at the end of the term, her/his report will be withheld until the following term.
  • No child will be allowed to leave school early before the beginning of a holiday (Diwali, Christmas & Summer vacations) and absolute punctuality is mandatory at the time of re- opening of the school.
  • Students not returning to school within a month after the holidays, are liable to have their names struck off the rolls.
  • If a child has to leave early or return late due to certain unavoidable circumstances, the Principal must be intimated in writing.
  • No student is allowed to attend any Open House, school function (in or outside the school) in any dress other than the school uniform.
  • Matters of discipline are dealt with initially by the class teacher. When the situation demands, the Principal takes responsibility for disciplinary measures. At all times students are encouraged to consider and be responsible for their own actions.
  • Payment of fees must be completed within the stipulated time frame. Any delay in payment will attract late payment charges.

Withdrawal of Admission

  • When it is desired to withdraw a child, two months’ notice in writing to take effect from the 1st of a month must be given failing which two months tuition fees will have to be paid.
  • The Admission fee is not refundable and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Pupils, who leave the School after the 28th of February, must pay the fees till the end of May.
  • A leaving certificate will be issued only after the School dues have been cleared. A student should give at least ten days prior notice to the school for providing the Leaving/Transfer certificate.

Leave Of Absence

  • Children should not be kept away from the School, except for illness.
  • When a student is absent, parents are required to intimate the Class Teacher through the School Diary.
  • No separate leave application need be made.
  • An Absence and Leave Record for the purpose is given in the Diary.
  • Any absence of more than two days should be supported by a medical certificate and an entry in the School Diary mentioning the number of days the child is absent is also required.
  • Infectious diseases, if any, should be notified immediately to the Principal.

In the event of emergencies such as bandhs, riots, floods, etc., please use your own discretion and decide whether to send your child to school. Should the emergency occur after school has begun, please ensure that you come personally to school and collect your child. The School cannot take the risk of sending your child with any other person. At times like these, it becomes humanly impossible for our office staff to answer telephone calls from so many parents.

The Beginning And End Of Term

  • Parents must strictly abide by the opening and closing dates of the School.
  • On no account, can ‘Special Cases’ be considered for permission to break the rule. No child may leave School before the beginning of a holiday (Diwali, Christmas and Summer) and absolute punctuality is necessary on the re-opening of the School.
  • Students not returning to School within a month without prior permission after the holidays, are liable to have their names struck off the rolls.
