Assessment and Record Keeping

Students are continuously assessed on the basis of pen & paper based tests, multiple assessments, portfolio and subject enrichment, along with the term examination and final examination.

Absence from tests and examinations in one or more subjects leads to the loss of grades for these subjects. Students are strongly advised to be present for all assessments since re-assessments may not be possible and it may impact the student’s grades/promotion.

Parent teacher meetings (PTMs) are conducted periodically to assess the student’s overall progress.

Parents will receive information about the results of these assessments as part of the student’s annual school report.

Promotions

Promotion to the next class is decided based on the student’s progress throughout the year in
Pre – Test and Term Examination Post Test and Final Examination
